LIMITED LICENSING RELEASE

1 OAK Studios provides a limited usage license for the content we produce, rather than selling exclusive

rights or transferring copyright ownership. This ensures high-quality service while maintaining control

over our intellectual property.

🔹 License Terms & Usage:

• The Client is granted permission to use the delivered photos, videos, and other media for

marketing, portfolio, and promotional purposes related to the specific project or scope listed in

their agreement.

• Content may be used on the Client’s website, social media, electronic marketing, printed

marketing materials, internal presentations, award submissions, and portfolio materials for the

Client’s own business.

• Unless otherwise agreed in writing, this license is perpetual for the approved uses listed above,

but remains limited to the named Client only.

• Architects, interior designers, builders, developers, stagers, vendors, manufacturers,

publications, or other third parties must contact 1 OAK Studios directly to obtain separate

licensing and applicable fees.

🚫 Unauthorized Use & Restrictions

• Photos, videos, and other media may not be resold, transferred, gifted, sublicensed, or given to

any third party, collaborator, vendor, publication, company, or individual unless approved in

writing by 1 OAK Studios.

• Heavy alterations to images or videos are not permitted. Resizing and cropping are allowed, but

modifications that affect quality, artistic intent, or brand integrity are prohibited.

• If multiple parties, including builders, interior designers, brokers, architects, developers,

manufacturers, publishers, or vendors, wish to use the content, 1 OAK Studios will establish a fair

licensing fee structure for all approved parties involved.

• Use of the content for magazines, blogs, books, catalogs, digital publications, editorial features,

manufacturer marketing, vendor marketing, or third-party self-promotion is not included unless

approved in writing by 1 OAK Studios and may be subject to additional fees.

📚 Book & Print Licensing

• Image licensing for books, catalogs, magazines, brochures, coffee table books, brand books,

lookbooks, or other print publications is subject to a separate licensing fee based on total

distribution, print quantity, usage, and placement.

• Standard print licensing fee schedule:

Up to 5,000 copies: $500 per image

Up to 10,000 copies: $750 per image

Up to 25,000 copies: $1,000 per image

Over 25,000 copies or unlimited print runs: Custom quote required

• Each new edition, reprint, revised version, updated publication, foreign language version,

special edition, digital edition, or additional iteration requires a separate license unless otherwise

agreed in writing.

📢 Credit & Copyright

• All images and videos used for publicity, editorial, press, awards, print, or public-facing

promotion must include the following credit whenever reasonably possible:

"Photography or Video by 1 OAK Studios."

• The copyright to all images, videos, and media legally remains with 1 OAK Studios. We reserve

the right to use the content for marketing, portfolio, website, social media, award submissions,

case studies, advertising, and promotional purposes.

• Third-party use, including magazines, blogs, digital publications, books, catalogs, design firms,

builders, architects, vendors, manufacturers, or other collaborators using the content for their

own promotion, is strictly prohibited unless approved by 1 OAK Studios and may be subject to

additional fees.

📌 Important

Payment for the photoshoot, production services, and associated licensing fees must be made in full before

the license is granted and files are delivered. For licensing inquiries, publication requests, print licensing,

or additional usage requests, please contact 1 OAK Studios.

USAGE RIGHTS

1 OAK Studios grants the Client a limited license to use the Work Product, including photos, videos, and other

media, for the promotion of the specific project, business, or scope outlined in the agreement. The Client may

upload or use the content for:

✅ Social media

✅ Client-owned websites

✅ Email campaigns

✅ Printed marketing materials

✅ Portfolio use

✅ Project case studies

✅ Internal presentations

✅ Award submissions

✅ Public relations related to the specific project

However, this license does not transfer copyright, ownership, or any exclusive rights to the Client.

All intellectual property rights remain with 1 OAK Studios, in accordance with Copyright Act 17 U.S.C § 106.

Any third-party use or redistribution, including use by magazines, publishers, design firms, architects,

builders, developers, vendors, manufacturers, collaborators, or other outside parties, requires written

permission from 1 OAK Studios and may be subject to licensing fees.
