Sunset Island II: Photographing a Masterpiece
With its masterful contemporary design, lush tropical landscaping, and coveted waterfront location, this estate is a true masterpiece. As a team we were thrilled to have the opportunity to capture the beauty and grandeur of this property. One of the first things we noticed about the estate was its incredible curb appeal.
The Old Spanish home had been meticulously transformed into an oasis of contemporary design, with clean lines, geometric shapes, and expansive windows. The lush tropical landscaping perfectly complemented the home’s architecture, creating a sense of serenity and luxury.
Upon entering the estate, we were immediately struck by the grandiosity of the foyer. The soaring ceilings, marble floors, and sweeping staircase created a sense of awe and wonder. The living room was spacious and inviting, with floor-to-ceiling windows that offered stunning views of the waterfront. And the master bathroom, designed by the late iconic architect Zaha Hadid, was a true work of art.
Photographic Journey: Capturing a Tropical estate
We spent several hours photographing the estate, both inside and out. We used a variety of techniques to capture its unique features, including wide-angle shots to capture the scale of the property, close-up shots to highlight specific architectural details, and ambient light photography to create a sense of atmosphere.
One of our favorite images from the shoot is a wide-angle shot of the estate from the backyard. The photo captures the home’s stunning contemporary design, the lush tropical landscaping, and the sparkling blue water of the bay. We love the way the sunlight illuminates the home’s white exterior and the contrast between the green of the trees and the blue of the sky.
Another favorite image is a close-up of the estate’s pool. The photo captures the crystal-clear water, and lush landscaping. We love the way the sunlight shimmers on the water and the way the palm trees sway in the breeze. This home is one of South Florida’s most sought-after properties and photographing it was a truly one of a kind experience.
